Tuesday TV Wrap: Celebrity Apprentice Snatches Entertainment Crown Back From Big Brother

As avid readers of the B&T TV wrap will know, on Monday Seven’s Big Brother won the entertainment ratings. Now, Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice has reclaimed the throne.

Celeb Apprentice peaked at its Boardroom with 657,000 viewers – as per OzTAM’s metro data – while the rest of the ep peaked at 594,000. Last night’s ep saw the remaining celebs create a ‘sleepover’ experience for kids and their parents at Madame Tussaud’s, which sounds genuinely terrifying.

MasterChef was next with 571,000 viewers while Big Brother had 569,000.

On top overall was Seven News with 1,142,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,041,000 viewers. Next was A Current Affair with 777,000, then ABC News with 699,000.

Seven’s The Chase beat out Home and Away with 632,000 viewers as compared to 607,000 viewers.

The ABC had 7.30 at 570,000 viewers, while Anh’s Brush With Fame had 542,000 viewers in an ep with Michael Kirby. Love On The Spectrum had 485,000 viewers.

For 10, The Project had 527,000 viewers while 10 News First had 388,000, while Nine’s Hot Seat had 556,000.

The Seven Network won the night with 27.3 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Nine Network with 26.7 per cent. It was a tight race for third with Network 10 snagging bronze at 19.1 per cent of the share, while the ABC Network had 18.8 per cent.

The SBS Network had eight point one per cent of the share.
