The Block keeps on proving the gift that keeps on giving for Nine, handing the network an easy win last night after it pulled 1.02 million viewers.
Even with True Story with Hamish & Andy (665,000) arguably not pulling the eyeballs Nine may have hoped, the network still managed an impressive 31.5 per cent audience share last night.
Seven had to settle for second with 25.3 per cent, however, it’s probably happy the dire Dance Boss is no more. Ten nabbed third spot with 18.7 per cent, the ABC was relegated to fourth with 16.7 per cnet and SBS finished with 7.8 per cent.
Other high points for Nine was its 6pm news (934,000), ACA (758,000) and Hot Seat (532,000).
Over at Seven, its news bulletin fell short of the million-mark, nabbing 996,000. Home And Away had 616,000, The Chase pulled 596,000, The Force had 445,000 and Border Security managed 418,000.
As we’ve come to expect, Survivor was paying Ten’s wages, it pulled 667,000. The Project (528,000) and Bull (318,000) Ten’s other shows of note.
The ABC’s evening ran thus: 7pm news (768,000), 7:30 (572,000), Foreign Correspondent (416,000), Catalyst (337,000), Think Tank (242,000) and Search for Second Earth (227,000).
Once again trains pulled SBS’ whistle, Great Indian Railway Journeys pulling 319,000.
