Triple M Launches Virtual Garage Session With Something For Kate

In a Triple M Network first, the famous Triple M Garage Session will now be coming to listeners’ homes across Australia.

Triple M Club members will have the chance to claim an exclusive seat (on their couch) in the inaugural virtual Garage Session with Aussie rock band, Something For Kate, hosted by Chris ‘Becko’ Beckhouse.

The Triple M Garage Session has seen acts such as Ian Moss, Birds of Tokyo, Diesel, The Angels, Screaming Jets and many more. Now in current times, Club Members are able to get up close with Something for Kate’s Paul Dempsey and Stephanie Ashworth during a live and intimate music experience.

After an eight-year hiatus, Something For Kate have returned with their new track Situation Room ahead of their upcoming seventh album release later in the year. The band will not only perform exclusively for Club members but winners will have the opportunity to personally ask Paul and Steph questions throughout.

Something For Kate band members Paul Dempsey and Stephanie Ashworth said: “What a great way to spend a Friday night! It’s not often we get to be in your lounge room and it’s not often you get to be in our spare room so you get the drinks, we’ll grab our guitars and we can all enjoy some live music and even a little fireside chat – for those of you who have a fire. Can’t wait!”

Hit and Triple M networks’ head of music Mickey Maher said: “We love treating our Club members with exclusive access to Australian and global artists. In the new world of isolation, delivering a virtual live performance by Something For Kate is really exciting!”
