Triple J has launched a new channel, Triple J Talks, designed to host all of the podcasts including a brand new line-up.
With its first episode dropping this Friday, 28 August, and then every Friday after that, new podcast The Slop dives headfirst into the doomscroll and brings back what matters.
Featuring triple j newsreader Jack James, digital storyteller Lena Tuck and culture critic Michael Sun, the trio will unearth “the best and worst in internet culture”

Whatever niche online drama is clogging your feed, aim to do the digging and “let you in on what you really should know”.
In addition, landing in late September, Triple J’s Abby & Tyrone are taking their best friendship beyond the Breakfast show, bringing audiences a brand-new podcast every Friday morning after they wrap up for the week.
Packed with the best laughs, chaos and convos, each episode will feature everything we already love and more about the duo everyone wants in their group chat. Stay tuned for more news here, coming soon.
Produced in collaboration with ABC Podcasts, triple j talks is the home of Triple J podcasts and a bunch of brand-new titles ready to find their way into the ears, eyes and hearts of young people all around the country.
We’re so keen to bring Triple J audiences even more of the presenters and conversations they love across triple j talks,” head of Triple J and Double J Lachlan Macara said.
“Some voices they’ll know, others they’re just about to meet, but each will play a part in starting conversations with more young Australians, wherever they are.”
Head of audio on demand, ABC, Jessica Radburn added: “Young Australians and creators are continuing to lean into video as a space for self-expression and conversation, so growing our video podcast slate with triple j talks is all about meeting them exactly where they are.”
“We’re thrilled to be part of it.”
