Toyota Australia has partnered with the National Football League (NFL) as the official automotive partner of the 2026 NFL Melbourne game.
The partnership places Toyota Australia at the centre of the game, with the Los Angeles Rams set to take on the San Francisco 49ers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday 11 September.
Fans can connect with the action at the NFL Kickoff Festival at Melbourne Park from 10-12 September, where Toyota Australia will host an activation alongside NFL exhibits, retail pop-ups, Flag Football clinics, an American food village, official watch parties, giveaways, live music and more.
The partnership builds on Toyota Australia’s existing sporting partnerships, including the AFL, AFLW, Cricket Australia, North Queensland Cowboys, Adelaide Crows, and Toyota Gazzo Racing.
The NFL’s first regular season game on Australian soil marks a milestone for both local sports fans and the league’s international growth ambitions.
With an Australian fanbase of 8.8 million and growing, the NFL’s arrival in Melbourne is expected to introduce more fans to world-class American football while supporting the continued growth of the game across Australia.
“Sport has a remarkable ability to bring people together through shared experiences. The NFL’s first-ever regular season game in Melbourne presents a unique opportunity to connect Australian audiences with one of the world’s biggest sporting competitions and Toyota Australia is proud to help fans be a part of the excitement and engage with the game in new ways, ” said Toyota Australia chief marketing officer Vin Naidoo.
“The NFL Melbourne Game is a landmark moment for our fans in Australia, and we’re delighted to welcome Toyota as a partner for this historic occasion,” said NFL general manager ANZ Charlotte Offord.
Toyota is one of the country’s most recognised and trusted brands, with a deep connection to Australian communities through sport. Together, we’re creating more opportunities for fans to engage with the NFL and be part of an unforgettable experience.”
At the NFL Kickoff Festival, fans can visit the Toyota activation to see the Toyota Tundra up close, capture their own “Oh What A Feeling!” moment and take home a Polaroid keepsake. Featuring NFL-themed props and photo opportunities, the activation will give fans the chance to be part of this historic sporting event.
Tickets to the fan festival start at $49 for Thursday and Saturday sessions and $59 for Friday sessions.
