Australian health and wellbeing network Tonic Heath Media has announced the launch of its inaugural ‘Nutritious and Delicious Healthy Agency Cook Off’.
The industry-first initiative will bring together the cream of Australia’s media agency staff for an innovative (and competitive) cookery competition hosted and judged by renowned celebrity chef Luke Hines.
The event will also feature a healthy eating masterclass from Tonic Health Media’s Dr Norman Swan.
Taking place on Tuesday 13 February at Sydney’s iconic Fish School, the cook-off will see more than 13 teams from across media agency land face each other to take home the prestigious title of agency land’s culinary champion.
The Nutritious and Delicious Healthy Agency Cook Off has been created by Tonic as a response to its recent Tonic Healthy Living series of events.
The sessions saw Tonic hit the road, talking to media agency staff in person about the physical and psychological stresses they encounter.
Tonic’s commercial director, Jack Mortlock (pictured above), said: “This is an agency initiative that we are launching to promote what we preach, namely health and wellbeing.
“We have been out on the road talking to the industry, and understand that physical wellbeing leads to mental wellbeing, and in turn a happier and more productive industry.”
“We really wanted to show people how it’s easy to whip up a delicious and healthy meal quickly and easily that will also even be therapeutic for both their health and their soul.”
Mindshare chief investment officer Nicola Lewis said the competition was a great way to bring the industry together with a positive spin.
“Modern life can often lead to a sense of feeling overwhelmed, a feeling that can negatively impact our nutritional choices,” she said.
“More than ever, it is incredibly important to make the right choices when choosing how to fuel ourselves and our bodies.
“Tonic Heath Media are great partners when it comes to exciting and useful ideas to help initiate change with respect to our health and wellbeing, with the inaugural Healthy Agency Cook Off just one example of a challenge that matters.”
