Thursday TV Wrap: Aussies Escape With SBS’ The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys

Thursday night saw 362,000 Australia’s escape their lounge room and head to Norway with SBS’ The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys, according to OzTAM data.

Other popular shows of choice to help Aussies escape our COVID-19 reality included Seven’s The Chase (602,000), while Nine’s Hot Seat did 518,000, 10’s The Bachelor did 591,000 and ABC’s Escape from the City did 331,000.

Seven narrowly stole the show in primary audience share with 18.8 per cent, while Nine did 18.2 per cent, 10 did 12.0 per cent and ABC did 10.9 per cent. SBS did 6.6 per cent.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Seven

News did 1.09m, Home and Away did 510,000, The Front Bar did 342,000 and Sunrise did 257,000.

Nine

News did 969,000, ACA did 739,000 and NRL did 310,000.

The Project did 548,000, 10 News First did 362,000, and Celebrity Gogglebox US did 396,000.

ABC

News did 778,000, 7.30 did 587,000, and Sammy J did 356,000.

All channel share 

Seven pulled 28.5 per cent, Nine followed with 26.1 per cent, 10 did 18.9 per cent, while ABC and SBS did 16.4 per cent and 10.1 per cent respectively.

  1. Seven – 26.9 per cent
  2. Nine – 26.8 per cent
  3. 10 – 25.3 per cent

People 16-39

  1. 10 – 28.2 per cent
  2. Seven – 26.1 per cent
  3. Nine – 25.8 per cent
