The Wellcom Group, the global creative production agency and strategic partner of Innocean has hired Vicky Stewardson into the newly-created role of senior product manager, AI & automation, where she will lead the agency’s AI-enabled capabilities and operational innovation across the ANZ market.
Reporting to ANZ Managing Director Marnie Darren and based in Sydney, Stewardson will drive the discovery, development, and delivery of AI-powered products and intelligent workflow systems. A central part of her remit will be advancing HOME, Wellcom’s AI-powered operating system (OS) that unifies creative, production, data, and technology into a single connected workflow.
Stewardson will be responsible for leveraging HOME’s capabilities and embedding its intelligent automation across client engagements in the region.
Most recently, she served as senior project manager at Elephants Can Dance, driving AI product discovery and use-case development.
Prior to that, she spent four years as senior technical project manager at Clemenger BBDO (Omnicom Group), where she designed and delivered an end-to-end AI-powered production system for Samsung Australia.
“Creating content across multiple formats is what makes a truly connected customer experience possible, and that experience is now a pre-requisite for conversion in commerce channels,” said Stewardson, about her new role.
“AI powered automation tools like those we’re rolling out for our clients through HOME allow us to leverage AI in the most impactful way because it puts that technology directly at the fingertips of the production experts, creatives and data scientists, where and how they’re already working, custom-configured to their requirements and our clients specific needs.”
“That is an exciting next step forward in the application of AI that feels different than a lot of what we’re seeing in this space and I am excited to help put it to work.”
“The ANZ market is moving fast…brands are demanding smarter, faster, more scalable content solutions, and AI is central to how we deliver that,” said Marnie Darren, managing director ANZ, The Wellcom Group.
“Vicky brings exactly the kind of hands-on AI product and automation expertise we need to keep pushing our capabilities forward. This is an investment in the future of our business, and we’re thrilled to have her on the team.”
