The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has brought back the AiMCO Summit for 2027.
The 2027 AiMCO Summit will be held at the Roundhouse in Sydney on 25 February next year, with more than 550 of the nation’s creators, brands, talent and agency professionals expected to attend.
Submissions are now open to AiMCO members, including creators, brand representatives, talent agents, media and PR agency talent, and influencer marketing platforms, to be part of the summit content program, which is designed to showcase creative excellence and shape the future of the industry.
This year’s program will feature keynote presentations, panels, workshops, fireside chats and case studies, along with two new initiatives – a VIP breakfast and VIP lounge – and networking drinks.
The summit, now in its second year, is a creator and influencer industry event. The 2027 event will explore The Creator Effect, particularly the impact creators have on what people watch, believe and buy, and their ability to move audiences, shift culture and drive measurable commercial outcomes for brands.
Influencer marketing professionals are encouraged to frame their submissions around the concepts of reach, relevance and results, with a focus on engaging, creative content that reflects current or emerging trends and offers practical, actionable takeaways.
Last year’s inaugural summit attracted more than 40 speakers, with presentations from agencies and platforms including WPP Media, Are Media, Hello, Fabulate, Original Audio, Spawnpoint Media, Sticki, YouTube, Amplify, Born Bred Talent, brands like MECCA, Tourism Australia, L’Oreal, Nestle, Canva, Audible and Shift20, and creators including Ryan Jon, Matty Fahd, Matt Johnson, Stephanie de Sousa, The Donut Daddy, Alright Hey, Taz and Alessia, Sam Fricker, Jim Louderback and Harry Garside.
A post-event survey conducted by AiMCO found that 86 per cent said they would attend again.
“We came away from the summit with connections that turned directly into revenue and learnings that have genuinely improved our daily operations . As a business owner that’s a great result. As a board member, I was really proud of what AiMCO put together and how much everyone got out of the summit. Our whole team will be there next year,” said Toni & Ryan podcast co-host and AiMCO director, Ryan Jon.
“Our inaugural summit last year was a resounding success, with positive feedback from attendees, partners and the broader industry. This year’s summit is set to be bigger and better – our move to the Roundhouse means we’re able to create more ways for our community to connect and network, exchange ideas and celebrate the innovation that continues to drive our sector forward,” added AiMCO managing director, Patrick Whitnall.
“I’d like to encourage all of our AiMCO members to put forward content ideas for this year’s summit line-up. Last year, we had a genuine cross-industry room of creators, brands and agencies, sharing their ideas, challenging thinking and exploring what’s next for influencer marketing in Australia. We’re looking for that same inspired thinking from this year’s submissions – we want a program that is future-focused, built to spark debate and that pushes the conversation forward, helping to shape the agenda for the industry and providing valuable learning opportunities for attendees.”
Submissions for the 2027 AiMCO Summit are exclusively open to AiMCO members from 11 August to 15 September via online written pitch.
