Tealium, a leader in real-time customer data orchestration solutions, announced the appointment of Chris Russell as managing director of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Russell (featured image) joins Tealium from InfoTrust where he was head of sales for Australia and responsible for launching and building the Go-To-Market strategy for several new products and services.

He has existing expertise in sales, pre-sales, technical services, managed services, operations, and client success management across cyber-security and anti-fraud sectors.

Furthermore, he launched a leading cybersecurity anti-fraud and phishing vendor in the APAC region.

In his new role, Russell will oversee development across ANZ, working to drive growth and scale for Tealium ANZ.

Based in Sydney, Russell will also be responsible for expansion into other major Australian cities including Melbourne and Brisbane to help deepen customer relationships, as well as extend and activate the channel ecosystem across the region.

Tealium CEO, Jeff Lunsford said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to the company – he brings a wealth of experience in addressing data concerns in brands and will be instrumental in scaling our presence across the ANZ region.”

“We are growing rapidly due to the high demand for data orchestration and increasing privacy regulations, and our Customer Data Platform is gaining significant momentum.”

Chris Russell commented: “Data initiatives are among the top priorities for organisations today, however the level of data maturity for many companies is not where it needs to be.

“This has driven my decision to join Tealium, which is exceptionally well positioned in the market to support its customers’ strategies through data orchestration, enabling true digital transformation – I am excited to be part of the data transformation evolution.”
