International megastar Taylor Swift has replied to a twitter plea from a Sydney theatre director giving her performance permission to use the lyrics to Shake It Off.
Director Anne-Louise Sarks had been told she couldn’t use the song by Taylor Swift’s label the night before the performance debut of her play Seventeen – a play where 17-year-olds play 70 year-olds.
Left in a dire situation, Sarks went on a Twitter campaign to get the star’s permission.

The performance is at Belvoir Street Theatre, a Sydney-based theatre in Surry Hills where we held digital disruption conference Daze of Disruption this year.
Nice one Tay Tay!
