Heritage Australian paint brand Taubmans, in collaboration with independent creative agency Sunday Gravy, has launched the latest chapter of its ‘Making Painters’ platform.
Inspired by the everyday truths that stop people from picking up a brush, the new campaign shows how a fresh coat of Taubmans All Weather exterior paint can restore more than just what’s on the outside.
“Painting has never really been about paint. It’s about how you feel when you pull into your driveway, walk to the letterbox, or take the bins out,” said Sunday Gravy senior writer Lenna Boland.
“We loved finding a truth almost every Australian has felt, that quiet feeling your neighbours are judging your place. Sometimes all it takes is a weekend and a tin of paint to change that.”
“Painting can seem daunting, especially the idea of transforming the exterior look of your home. At Taubmans we are all about giving painters confidence to pick up a paint brush and give it a go. Taubmans All Weather is designed for Australia’s toughest conditions, giving people the confidence that once they’ve done the job, it’ll keep them grinning with pride from year to year,” Taubmans PPG head of marketing Lee-Ann Birch added.
The campaign has launched nationally across TV, online video, Out of Home, social, PR and retail.
