Commercial talk-radio network Tapt Media has expanded its sales operation with one promotion and two new appointments across both Melbourne and Sydney.
Tim Martin has been promoted to direct sales manager, Melbourne, while Andrea Hall has been appointed business manager, Melbourne and Daniel Hughes has joined as business manager, Sydney.
The appointments come just days after Tapt Media promoted sales director Kristy Mansfield to the newly created role of general manager at 6PR Perth, with the move designed to drive growth in the Western Australian market.
The latest appointments represent a significant strengthening of Tapt Media’s direct sales leadership across two of its key markets.
Martin brings 17 years of media sales experience to the Melbourne leadership role, including five years with Tapt Media’s Melbourne direct team, where he has built a reputation for strong commercial performance and leadership.
Hall will step into Martin’s former Business Manager position in Melbourne, while Hughes takes on the equivalent role in Sydney.
Both Hall and Hughes are returning to Tapt Media, having previously worked with the business under its former Nine Radio and Macquarie Media names.
Their previous experience with the network means both bring an established understanding of its audio brands, commercial offering and client base.
Tapt Media head of direct sales Luke Cahill said the appointments would strengthen the network’s direct sales capability.
“These appointments mark an exciting new chapter for Tapt Media as we continue to build on our top-tier direct sales capability,” Cahill said.
“Tim’s proven track record and leadership make him the ideal choice to guide our Melbourne team.”
He added that the return of Hall and Hughes would allow the business to “hit the ground running” across Melbourne and Sydney, citing their familiarity with the company’s culture and audio brands.
