On Tuesday the 4th of May Taco Bell is harnessing lunar powers and giving away free tacos to honour the half-moon that has now been labelled the ‘Taco Moon’.

For those looking for a sign to have one of Taco Bell’s famous tacos, the planets have aligned. Taco Bell is inviting fans to pay attention to the moon’s taco-like shape on May 4th. Fans will need to head to their local Taco Bell restaurant and simply mention the ‘Taco Moon’ or say ‘I saw the Taco Moon’ to claim a free Crunchy Taco Supreme.

This fan-fave Taco features a crunchy shell filled with seasoned beef, sour cream, fresh lettuce, tomato, and cheese. No stress for vegetarian taco-lovers, the Taco Supreme can also be made with black beans.

“We’re so excited to invite Aussies to try our iconic Crunchy Taco Supreme for free on May 4th,” said Tamika Nelsen, Marketing Manager.

“We hope that experiencing the Crunchy Taco Supreme ignites a love for our tacos in Australians like never before.”

In addition to receiving a free Crunchy Taco Supreme, the first 20 taco-lovers through the door at each restaurant will also receive a limited-edition Taco Moon Party kit. The kit includes intergalactic-level cool Taco Bell merchandise so fans can celebrate the Taco Moon with friends and family in style.

Taco Bell plans to give away out of this world quantities of tacos on May 4th, as a part of its first-ever global campaign, when the saga of lunar phases ultimately displays its perfect half-moon shape.
