Susan Massasso To Remain At A2 Milk As Chief Growth And Brand Officer

The a2 Milk Company Limited has announced Susan Massasso will remain at the company, after resigning from her role last year.

It had been announced in November 2019 that Massasso [pictured below] would resign as CMO of the company.

Massasso was set to step down from her CMO role this month and remain a part of the organisation’s senior leadership team until June 2020.

However, A2 Milk today announced Massasso would instead be staying with the company, in the expanded role of chief growth and brand officer.

The new role will encompass broad responsibilities across innovation; new product and market development; and quality and regulatory affairs, while Massasso will continue to lead the marketing and development of our brand as she has done so successfully over the years.

A search is underway for a new head of group marketing role which will report to Massasso.

Chief operations officer Shareef Khan, has been leading the technical team on an interim basis until this change and will continue to oversee the quality activities in conjunction with Massasso.

Massasso will commence her new role on 24 February 2020.
