Nine’s Married At First Sight was the pick of the programs last night after 1.35 million viewers tuned into to see the lies and lascivious ways of agency ECD, Dean Wells.
However, Seven again won the night on the back of its Olympics coverage, while MKR was back over the million-mark, pulling 1.14 million.
This all meant bad news for Ten, with I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! managing half that of rival shows with 618,000. While the network also got beaten into fourth spot by the ABC.
Seven managed an impressive 36.7 per cent of audience share last night, followed by Nine with the 30 per cent, the ABC had 15.6 per cent, Ten pulled 13.1 per cent, and it appears very few people bothered with SBS, down to a dismal 4.5 per cent.
Seven won the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, beating Nine’s offering by 1.02 million to 961,000, respectively. While 60 Minutes had a good return with 810,000.
The Winter Olympics coverage peaked at 935,000 for Seven.
Ten’s The Sunday Night Project was up a little on last week, managing 411,000.
For the ABC, its night went thus: 7pm news (744,000), Hawke: The Larrikin And The Leader (597,000), Shetland (528,000) and QI (202,000).
For the SBS, Eight Days That Made Rome was its best, despite only pulling 159,000 sets of eyeballs.
