The co-founders have put enormous effort into fostering a culture of positivity, success and celebration at Stylerunner HQ. Monday morning all-in ‘locker room’ sessions are spent upskilling the team, sharing gratitude and setting positive intentions for the week ahead. Friday afternoon all-in ‘Kudos Hour’ is spent reviewing and celebrating the team’s achievements, where a peer voting system results in a weekly, monthly and yearly prize.
“We wanted to create an environment where staff members feel rewarded and respected. Stylerunner HQ is all about building, growing and developing skill sets, creating work/life balance and fostering a long term commitment from employees,” says Julie.
In a bid to increase productivity, staff loyalty and morale, the Stevanja sisters have been known to call impromptu team WIPs to celebrate success ‘in the moment’. Most recently, the cofounders had 100 helium balloons delivered to the office alongside three Brazilian dancers to surprise and delight their staff members.
Long terms plans include subsidised gym memberships and flexible workstations to allow staff to create their own working environments to produce the best results.
Stylerunner is set to celebrate its second birthday next month and the cofounders promise exciting new developments for the team and the company as a whole.
