Nine’s State Of Origin dominated last night it delivered a staggering 1,771,000 eyeballs and gave nine 47.6 per cent of the share.

However, last year’s State of Origin coverage was even more of a winner for Nine, netting 1,911,000 viewers across OzTAM’s metro data. Still, this year’s numbers are certainly still worth celebrating.

Seven News hit 968,000 viewers while Nine News earned 864,000 viewers.

As per OzTAM’s metro numbers, Seven’s The Chase grabbed 561,000. Meanwhile, Home And Away nabbed 440,000 viewers – clearly, Ray was a star as always.

For Nine, Hot Seat grabbed 471,000 viewers – and honestly, this show reminds me I know nothing – seriously NOTHING!

For 10, The Project pulled in 404,00 viewers. Masterchef brought in 437,000 viewers – delicious television.

Finally, ABC had a strong night with ABC News, netting 599,000 viewers and 7.30 earned 489,000 viewers.

Gruen pulled in 491,000 viewers and The Weekly With Charlie Pickering grabbed 451,00 viewers – ABC should be very chuffed with its comedy line-up.
Out on top was the Nine Network with 47.6 per cent. Seven Network was behind with 18.8 per cent of the daily share.  ABC Network grabbed 13.9 per cent tying with 10 Networks with 13.9 per cent.
While the SBS had 5.8 per cent.
