Spirit Super Appoints Common Ventures As Creative Partner

Superannuation company Spirit Super has appointed Common Ventures as its creative agency of record, following a competitive pitch involving four agencies.

Common Ventures will lead Spirit Super’s brand launch through all communication channels and be responsible for all creative output for the brand.

Spirit Super is the result of an upcoming merger between industry super funds MTAA Super and Tasplan. Spirit Super will be Australia’s newest Industry Super Fund and will have approximately $23 billion funds under management and approximately 326,000 members across Australia.

Common Ventures Co-founder & Creative Director, James Crawley, said, “common has been building capacity and expertise in the financial sector, and this win is testament to that.”

“Spirit Super will occupy a unique place in the market – it is a mid-sized fund, but hasn’t lost the hard working attitude and personal commitment to members that a smaller organisation might have. Spirit Super is very much the best of both worlds.”

It is a positive start to 2021 for the agency, after recently securing Bank Australia.

The appointment is effective immediately.
