Special Group Confirms Appointment Of Cummins&Partners ECDs Tom Martin & Julian Schreiber

Independent creative agency Special Group has confirmed the appointment of Cummins&Partners’ Tom Martin and Julian Schreiber as its new executive creative directors.

The pair will also join Cade Heyde, Dave Hartmann and Lindsey Evans as partners in Special Group’s Australian business.

Prior to their respective stints at Cummins&Partners’ Sydney office, Martin and Schreiber were ECDs at Johannes Leonardo in New York.

“Our global search led us to the perfect partners just around the corner,” Evans said.

“Their experience, ambition and shared values are second to none, and there is perfect alignment in approach to creativity, culture and commerce. Tom and Jules are creative problem-solvers in the truest sense.

Evans said Martin and Schreiber join Special Group with incredible momentum and opportunity.

“We have some of the most exciting opportunities of our careers in front of us working across brand strategy, experience, design and advertising, with brilliant clients and world-class talent in a wonderful culture,” she said.

Special Group’s appointment of Martin and Schreiber was first revealed yesterday when Cummins&Partners announced that Mandie van der Merwe and Avish Gordhan would replace the pair.
