Akcelo’s Peter Collins has admitted the detail that went into the agency’s pitch for the ‘Go All Out’ campaign which won Gold at the Cairns Crocodiles Awards in the Film Craft category, was “second to none”.

The brand campaign film, created in collaboration with World Rugby, promotes the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia.

The high-energy, 60-second hero film directed by Scott Otto Anderson follows a fleet of fan-built vehicles racing across the Australian outback.

Rugby icons featured in the campaign include rugby rivals Jonny Wilkinson and George Gregan and cameos by Wallabies stars Joseph Suaalii, Max Jorgensen and Rob Valetini.

Speaking with B&T backstage in Far North Queensland, following the award win, Peter Collins, founding partner and chief growth officer at Akcelo admitted the level of detail that went into the campaign pitch was “second to none”

When asked how it feels to win this award off the back of the agency’s Grand Prix win at the 2025 awards, he said: “It’s amazing, we’re so stoked.”

Akcelo, in partnership with media agency OMD, won the Grand Prix at the 2025 Cairns Crocodiles Awards for their ‘McDonald’s x Squid Game: Dare to Play’ campaign.

Peter Collins.

“This pitch that we won, first and foremost, we were the only Aussie agency,” he told B&T.

“It’s obviously a huge deal, with the World Cup as well. So [I’m] stoked for the team. It’s amazing,” he said.

While Collins wasn’t the one behind the creative work itself, he also applauded “the amount of craft that went into the whole experience”.

“It’s very Australian centric, and bringing all the countries together is very Aussie and very special.”

“Hopefully everyone loves it.”
