CATINELLA has been appointed as communications and media partnerships agency for scotch brand The Macallan in Australia.

In Australia, CATINELLA will lead an integrated communications strategy spanning earned media, partnerships and paid media, with a focus on strengthening The Macallan’s presence within the local luxury landscape.

The approach will centre on building long-term brand authority through culturally relevant storytelling, experiential activations and strategic media alignment.

CATINELLA and The Macallan will work to translate the brand’s global legacy into a locally resonant narrative.

The single malt Scotch whisky brand was founded in 1824 on the Easter Elchies Estate in Speyside, Scotland, and has since built a reputation for  quality, craftsmanship and innovation.

At the heart of The Macallan is a philosophy of craftsmanship and commitment is an assured approach that aims to balance heritage with a progressive spirit, shaping both its product and its cultural presence.

The Macallan has distinguished itself through a level of vertical integration. It exercises complete control over its craft, Owning and overseeing every stage from forest to cask to spirit, including its own cooperages and a sherry bodega in Jerez, Spain.

Crafted exclusively on its 485-acre Speyside Estate, The Macallan aims to unite heritage, production and experience within a single, considered environment.
