Rocket Fuel Expands Sydney Team With Three New Hires

Predictive marketing platform solutions provider Rocket Fuel continues to expand its Australian team with the appointment of a new director of strategic accounts, senior analyst and account manager for its Sydney office.

Phil Murrell, a former sales director at Rocket Fuel in the UK, has journeyed across the pond to join Rocket the company’s Australian team as director of strategic accounts.

Murrell has previously held senior sales roles at both online networks and publishers, including Virgin Media and Kontera.

Joining Rocket Fuel Australia as a senior analyst is Sam Elassad. Having previously worked with Commonwealth Bank and Ernst & Young, Elassad is a seasoned analytics professional with over six years’ experience in analytics strategy, consulting and customer insights.

Furthermore, Rachel Williams will take on the role of account manager. Williams started out at MCN in the agency sales team, working across several agencies in a post sales capacity.

Rocket Fuel has also promoted Linda Nguyen to the newly-created role of head of platform. Nguyen will be responsible for driving widespread adoption of Rocket Fuel’s predictive marketing platform across current and prospective clients.

Rocket Fuel’s coutnry manager for Australia and New Zealand, Mailee Creacy, said the appointments reflect the company’s commitment to building the definitive full-funnel platform for predictive marketing.
