Resort Turns Angry One-star Review Into Advertising Gold

An American ski resort has turned an unfavourable one-star review into a stunning print ad campaign.

Utah’s Snowbird ski resort is using a review by “Greg from Los Angeles” to promote its stunning scenery and slightly dangerous looking runs.

Greg’s review of Snowbird read: “Too advanced. I’d heard Snowbird is a tough mountain, but this is ridiculous. It felt like every trail was a steep chute or littered with tree wells. How is anyone supposed to ride in that? Not fun!”

Check out Snowbird’s print ad below:

The ads will appear in some of the US top ski magazines including Freeskier, Powder, Ski, Transworld Snowboarding and Ski Utah. There will also be a digital iteration of the campaign.
