Report: Why It’s All About Personalisation For Aussie Marketers

A new report by digital retargeting firm Criteo has found more than 40 per cent of companies say they will spend between 40-60 per cent of their budget on creating personalised campaigns in the coming year.

Interestingly, 68 per cent of Australian marketers said that their biggest challenge is in personalising cross-channel campaigns in an increasingly competitive market.

Other key findings from the report include:

  • Almost half of all e-commerce transactions now involve cross-device usage
  • 75 per cent of respondents said the biggest growth over the next 12-18 months will be in mobile and cross-device advertising
  • Australia is lagging behind the rest of the world when it comes to mobile app shopping, but mobile is fast becoming an essential part of any digital strategy, with the focus on in-app advertising jumping from 19 per cent to 30 per cent over the next 12-18 months
