Reddit has announced new hires across key executive leadership positions.
The new hires reflect Reddit’s ongoing commitment to developing its senior leadership team and underscores the strength of several high-performing teams within the company.
The four additions are Carla McIntosh, new VP of recruiting, Anna Soellner, VP of communications, Mary Ann Belliveau, VP of North America large customer sales and Saad Rehmani, EVP of engineering.
McIntosh most recently served as the US head of talent acquisition for Google’s first-ever Operations Center.
She also previously held several roles across people operations.
“I can’t wait to join Reddit during this exciting phase of global expansion and begin developing and scaling recruitment strategies that support the future of Reddit’s workforce,” said McIntosh.
Though, while McIntosh was an external appointment the other three talented leaders were promoted internally.
Soellner joined the executive team as VP of communications where she will lead the company’s communications team in building and elevating Reddit’s brand and global reputation.
She joined Reddit in 2016 and has already built a global communications team that’s helped launch Reddit in multiple markets.
Belliveau, will grow and manage the large customer sales North America team.
She will work with Fortune 500 companies and their advertising agencies to develop creative, scalable and impactful marketing strategies.
Finally, Rehmani will continue to recruit and develop a high-performing global engineering team.
Going forward he’ll be a critical guide as Reddit strengthens its platform with high-quality engineering.
Reddit CEO, Steve Huffman (Title photo), said, “I’m grateful to have such a talented group of leaders who build and develop high-performing teams.”
