As longtime B&T readers would know, we’re monster fans of the Poo-Pourri ads, those delightfully funny spots for the toilet deodoriser that targets even the most odorous of stools. And, hasn’t poo hogged the headlines this week?

In fact, Poo-Pourri’s Christmas ad from 2014 – which you can check out here – remains one of the most magnificent pieces of copywriting in advertising history.

Arguably, Dos Equis’ “Most interesting man in the world” beer spots aside, Poo-Pourri’s ads have garnered cult-like status like no other campaign. As of May 2019, the series of ads had racked-up a staggering 350 million views online.

Enter the brand’s latest work fronted by Queer Eye’s resident uber camp hairdresser, Jonathon Van Ness, who said of his association with the toilet freshener: “I’ve dealt with poo shame, and anywhere we can remove stigma and shame, I want to be here for it.”

Admittedly, it’s probably not Poo-Pourri’s finest hour but still “gorg” fun all the same. Check it out below:
