Melbourne-based PR agency Think HQ has announced the appointment of Chanel Fernandes as its new creative lead.
Fernandes brings 13 years of diversified design and brand experience, having most recently been the senior art director at PPR and Style Counsel.
She began her career with an internship at Young & Rubicam in Dubai before joining J. Walter Thompson in India. Fernandes later moved to Singapore and then Australia.
In her new role, Fernandes will be responsible for leading the creative, design and brand work for Think HQ.
Its clients include the TAC, Vision Australia, Stay Smart Online, The Prince’s Charities Australia, and the Scanlon Foundation.
Think HQ founder Jen Sharpe said in a statement: “Chanel brings extensive international design and brand experience to Think HQ, and I’m excited to have her lead our creative and brand practice.
“This is our sixth year at Think HQ. Our team is now 15 strong and, with our digital and graphic design teams continuing to expand, our evolution into a full service agency is forging ahead.”
Commenting on her new role, Fernandes said: “I was drawn to Think HQ for the agency’s commitment to projects that matter and the strong female leadership team.
“I’m particularly excited to work on Think HQ’s social media campaigns, and have the opportunity to translate experience from corporate and consumer campaigns to meaningful projects and campaigns that address social issues.”
Fernandes’ appointment follows a number of new client wins for Think HQ over recent months, including the TAC, WorkSafe, Greenfleet, Jean Hailes for Women’s Health, Stay Smart Online, and the Australian Communities Foundation.
