Tim Elder, oOh!media’s head of indie agency and direct sales, has departed the business.
Posting on LinkedIn, Elder said:
“After 14.5 incredible years – 9.5 with oOh!media and 5 with Executive Channel Network (ECN) – I’ve made the decision, after much reflection and many conversations, to move on from oOh!.
“I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together: from integrating and relaunching the Office Media network in 2016/17, to navigating the pandemic, to transforming a small, often-overlooked ‘Direct’ team into today’s dynamic ‘Independent Agencies and Direct Customer’ team. Along the way, this ‘Indy and Direct’ team has all but tripled in size, now accounting for around a third of the overall business, and is recognised across the media industry for its capability, culture, and client service.
“Success doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of belief, collaboration, and relentless hard work from so many: Charles Parry-Okeden, Brendon Cook, Noel Cook, Chris Winterburn, Adam Cadwallader, Sam Buchanan, Tim Murphy, Cathy O’Connor and Mark Fairhurst — to name just a few.
“As I close this chapter, I’m energised by what lies ahead and eager to embrace the next opportunity.”
Mark Fairhurst, chief revenue officer, oOh!media, thanked Elder for his work.
“Tim has been a huge part of oOh!’s story, guiding us and the industry through significant change. His generosity, integrity and deep relationships have left a lasting impact across colleagues, clients and the OOH sector. We thank Tim for his leadership and wish him every success for what’s next.”
