NOVA Entertainment is excited to announce one of Australia’s biggest music experiences, with the launch of the third Nova’s Red Room Global Tour departing Australia on 1 June.
In a world exclusive, Nova’s Red Room Global Tour will be headlined by Coldplay, one of the world’s biggest artists.
Performing at an exclusive venue in Manchester, the seven time Grammy Award winning band have sold over 80 million albums and are currently performing to packed audiences with their “Head Full of Dreams” stadium tour.

For the third consecutive year, NOVA Entertainment will continue its successful collaboration with airline partner Qantas. Nova’s Red Room Global Tour Together with Qantas will fly competition winners from around Australia to the United Kingdom to enjoy intimate live music experiences.
Coldplay will be joined by Grammy Award winner Meghan Trainor for the Sydney leg of the tour. Megan’s current single “NO” has achieved platinum success, with the new album “Thank You” scheduled for release on 13 May.
Trainor’s debut single “All About That Bass” reached number one in 58 countries and became one of the bestselling songs of all time with sales of over 11 million. Chart topping British rapper Tinie Tempah, who’s current single “Girls Like” is dominating the Australian charts will perform in London. Having secured seven number one hits, Tinie Tempah returns to Nova’s Red Room after launching the music brand in 2012.
The Star have also returned as an affiliate for the third year, with Marquee The Star Sydney continuing as venue partner for the Sydney leg with Meghan Trainor.
With on air contesting in Nova’s local breakfast show and across the work day, and winners announced in Nova’s Kate, Tim & Marty drive show, competition winners will join Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small from Australia’s number one night show Nova’s Smallzy’s Surgery on this unique music and lifestyle experience.
Smallzy will also host the Surgery from 7pm to 10pm weeknights during the tour, sharing highlights from Nova’s Red Room performances, artist interviews and behind the scenes content.
This truly unique experience will see content captured and distributed across Nova and its partner’s radio, digital and social channels, so everyone can be part of the experience even if they’re not physically on the tour.
Following the success of the first two Nova’s Red Room Global Tours, Australia’s most established and intimate live music brand, along with long term partners Qantas and Marquee at The Star Sydney, will provide listeners with a money can’t buy experience with the world’s biggest artists on a tour of the UK, concluding in Sydney. The chance to join Nova’s Red Room Global Tour together with Qantas will kick off 16 May, with the tour leaving for London on 1 June.
