With over 13 years’ media experience, Halling joined NOVA Entertainment as group sales manager of the national direct team in May 2012. Having started his radio sales career with three years of account management at ARN from November 2003, Halling then worked for 2UE and Fairfax Radio as an account director, direct sales manager and an agency sales manager over a five year period from 2006 to early 2012.

Rob Sloan now leads the Sydney agency sales team as agency sales director, working with agencies and clients to continue to deliver market leading creative, ideas and media solutions and deliver on NOVA Entertainment’s strategic vision and commercial goals.

With over 14 years’ experience in media sales, Sloan joined NOVA Entertainment in April 2006 as Melbourne account manager. Over the following nine years, Sloan has worked across both the Melbourne and Sydney markets in various management roles to develop NOVA Entertainment’s people, build strategic direction for the company’s commercial approach and drive successful outcomes for agency and client partners. In February 2015, he took up his most recent role as Sydney head of agency sales.

Luke Minto, NOVA Entertainment’s Sydney general manager said both Halling and Sloan are highly respected and have been very effective in delivering strong results for clients and agencies.

“Our NOVA and smooth products alone have delivered double digit audience increases year-on-year and a strong sales leadership is essential to build on these audience and the revenue opportunities,” he said.

“Their new roles are another example of NOVA Entertainment’s commitment to developing staff and promoting strong talent from within.”

Sloan has already commenced his role as Sydney agency sales director, while Halling will start in his newly-created role in January 2107.

These appointments follow the promotion of Peter Colosimo from Sydney sales director to the role of NOVA Entertainment’s Melbourne general manager in September 2016.
