Former Mars chief growth officer Najoh Tita-Reid has said that marketers need to be cautious with emerging tools and technology.
Speaking straight after her keynote talk at Cairns Crocodiles, presented by Pinterest, Tita-Reid told B&T and News Australia about the tension between productivity and growth.
“We know that the new technology and tools out there can drive enormous productivity and that productivity can be a fuel for growth ” she said.
“However, it can also be a race to the bottom.”
Her advice for marketers?
“Those of us who are growth officers or growth leaders [must] use the time and talent that we have to set some standards around where to drive growth.”
