Nine’s The Block continues its mid-series renaissance. last night recording 1.32 million viewers and giving its rivals a trouncing in the process.
In fact, the stalwart reno show boasted double the audience numbers of anything Seven or Ten could muster last night..
On the back of The Block, Nine won the night with 30.7 per cent of the audience share. Seven had 25.3 per cent, ABC 18.8 per cent, Ten had 18.4 per cent and SBS managed 6.8 per cent.
Nine news beat rival Seven (1.07 million versus 1.03 million). While Karl’s This Time Next Year managed a respectable 876,000.
For Seven, Highway Patrol pulled 643,000, The Chase had 585,000 and Little Boy Blue managed 490,000.
For Ten, Have You Been Paying Attention? was its best with 737,000, while Survivor dipped below the precarious 600,000-mark managing only 595,000.
ABC’s news night went thus: 7pm news (760,000), Four Corners (718,000), Australian Story (685,000), 7:30 (669,000), Media Watch (543,000) and Q&A (417,000).
Over at the SBS, its best was The Obesity Myth which pulled a slim 263,000.
