MIK Studio has announced the latest Show Notes panel at this year’s SXSW Sydney, presented by Ideally.
Plugged In: How Brand Integration is Driving Podcast Creativity will dive into how podcasts can evolve from branded content to trusted storytelling platforms in a world where audiences are more ad-savvy than ever.
The panel will feature Sam Geer and Chris Colter, hosts of the Overnight Experts podcast who cracked the code by blending brand partnership with genuine narrative.
Joining them on stage will be Simon Gawn from Ideally, the overnight research company. Ideally, didn’t simply slap its logo on the show, it helped shape it. Together, Gawn, Geer and Colter will unpack how insights-driven brand integrations can build trust, inspire creativity and deliver measurable value for brands and audiences alike.
Adding to the conversation, News Australia’s Natasha Cormier will share her expertise on building brands through new media, exploring how innovation and authenticity can redefine engagement in the modern media landscape.
The session will be hosted by B&T’s Tom Fogden, who will hopefully guide an open and entertaining discussion on how creators, brands, and publishers can better collaborate to build stories that truly connect. He has also promised to go easy on his limp-wristed attempts at comedy.
Join Gawn, Colter, Cormier and, regrettably, Fogden, on Tuesday 14 October on the Show Notes Stage at SXSW Sydney.
The first episode of Overnight Experts will hit your ears tomorrow, 8 October 2025 on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and all other reputable podcast dispensaries.
