Mamamia has appointed Michila Macleod as its head of agency sales for Victoria effective today.
She joins fellow recently appointed state sales bosses in NSW’s Lanai Wiadrowski and WA’s Jess Steliou.
Together, Mamamia said they bring extensive industry experience and a shared commitment to purpose-driven work, people-first leadership, and building strong, lasting partnerships. Their appointments strengthen Mamamia’s leadership team and position the business for ongoing growth while continuing to prioritise the brand’s culture,
community, and connection with Australian women.
Macleod is one of Victoria’s most experienced agency sales leaders, with expertise across media, publishing, audio, digital and content partnerships. Her career
spans major organisations including Broadsheet, News Corp, Bauer, ACP, Authentic Entertainment, and BBC Studios. Beyond her commercial achievements, Michila has a
long-standing commitment to purpose-driven work, demonstrated through her role as GM Partnerships at FightMND and her support of underrepresented advertising and communications professionals within our industry as a mentor with Assiterhood.
Georgie Nichols, chief revenue officer at Mamamia, said: “Michila joins Mamamia with over 23 years of industry experience and an outstanding record of leading high-performing teams across Victoria and nationally. What excites me most is the combination of her commercial expertise with her clear commitment to purpose, people-first leadership, and meaningful partnerships. Together with Lanai and Jess, Michila will play a key role in shaping Mamamia’s next phase of growth, supporting our teams and partners, and delivering real impact for Australian women and the brands we work with.”
“I’m thrilled to be joining Mamamia, a brand that leads with purpose and has such an authentic connection to women across the country,” said Macleod.
“Mamamia’s culture, community and connection are truly unique, and I’m excited to build on that foundation — deepening partnerships, supporting and collaborating with people, and creating campaigns that make a real difference. I look forward to working with the talented Mamamia team and our partners to deliver work that informs, inspires and empowers.”
