Meta will expand the advertising capabilities of Threads, its Twitter/X rival, bringing it to all the markets it currently operates in.
While Australian users have seen ads on Threads since January last year, there are new formats including 4:5 aspect ratio ads, carousel ads, and Advantage+ catalogue/app ads.
The new geographic expansion of the ad platform also allows for cross-border advertising campaigns.
Also on offer are simplified account management and third-party brandy safety and suitability verification.
