Meta has announced they are bringing their Agency Awards to the ANZ region, a new initiative designed to celebrate agencies driving outstanding creative, media, and strategic results for clients across Meta’s platforms.

The announcement was made at the Meta Australian Agency Summit this morning, marking a significant moment for agencies as AI continues to reshape marketing.

The awards will spotlight agencies across seven different categories:

  • Performance Powerhouse – recognising the most effective use of Meta’s performance solutions to deliver measurable business results.
  • Full Funnel Excellence – celebrating campaigns that succeed across the entire Meta marketing funnel, from awareness to conversion.
  • Reel Impact – for innovative campaigns leveraging Reels and creator partnerships to engage audiences.
  • Creator-Led Growth – acknowledging creator activity embedded across brand and performance efforts to drive business outcomes.
  • Tech Enabled Growth – recognising agencies harnessing Meta’s API solutions to solve business challenges and build unique capabilities.
  • Measurement & Advanced Analytics – honouring campaigns using advanced measurement and data-driven planning via Meta’s analytics solutions.
  • Planner of the Year – celebrating outstanding strategists who drive transformative client outcomes using Meta’s latest tools.

The launch comes as Meta ramps up investment in AI-enabled creative and performance tools in a move to give agencies new ways to deliver smarter, faster, and more efficient outcomes.

From automation and creative optimisation to advanced measurement and signal solutions, AI is redefining what agencies can achieve across the marketing funnel.

Carolyn Bollaci, Meta ANZ Agency Director, said: “The rules of marketing have changed, and we believe it’s all about resonance, innovation and engaging experiences. There has never been a more important time not only for agencies, but for all of us across the industry to rethink how we define and deliver impact.

“The shift is reshaping the standards across Australia and New Zealand for what ‘great’ looks like in our industry. In this moment of transformation, we believe that our success, and the success of our shared clients, depends on great work, done differently.

“The ANZ Meta Agency Awards are designed to recognise the teams and individuals who are setting a new benchmark that is bold, strategic and delivering real impact. As a long-term partner to agencies across Australia and New Zealand, we’re committed to championing the work that is raising the bar.”

For agencies, the Meta ANZ Agency Awards offer more than recognition – they’re a chance to showcase leadership in a rapidly evolving AI-driven marketing landscape and demonstrate how innovative thinking can deliver tangible business results.

The awards are free to enter, and agencies can submit multiple entries. Entries opened on 4 March 2026 and will close on 18 September 2026 at 5:00 pm.

Winners will be announced in October, and judges include Meta representatives and industry leaders.
