Luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz has launched a promotion via Online Circle Digital to kick off 50 years of its AMG performance brand.
The campaign, titled ‘AMG Snow – An unparalleled challenge’, incorporates a website supported by social and search (with more executions to come), and will take one winner and a friend to the 2017 edition of the AMG Snow event in Queenstown, New Zealand.
The winner and their plus-one will get the chance to drive Mercedez-Benz AMG sports cars for a full day in the alpine location. The competition prize also includes return airfares and hotel accomodation.
Lucio Ribeiro, lead strategist at Online Circle Digital, said: “Every year, Mercedes-Benz brings this fantastic event to their customers and fans. We wanted to give more people the opportunity to share in this once-in-a-lifetime experience with AMG, giving them the chance to catch a glimpse of an incredibly unique event.”
Stephanie Leon, digital marketer at Mercedes-Benz Australia and New Zealand, said the event is an occasion that many AMG customers wait all year for.
“We looked at it as the perfect activation opportunity kick off our 50 years celebration and to differentiate an already pinnacle brand, and what better way to bring it to life through an engaging online experience, including the launch of our vertical video for our mobile audience,” she said.
