M&C Saatchi has announced the departure of chief creative officer Andy DiLallo after two years in the role.
The agency announced the move this afternoon, saying in a statement: “Andy has been an instrumental part of the business for close to two years. He has decided to spend more time with his young family. For anyone who knows the year Andy has had, this couldn’t be closer to the truth.”
“When Jaimes and the partners invited me to take M&C’s already formidable creative reputation to the next level, I accepted with honour,” Di Lallo said. “Now I leave a creative department I believe is unmatched in this country and a culture of innovation that makes me truly proud of what we’ve collectively achieved.
“For me it’s now time to refocus my energies from professional, to personal. I leave M&C knowing that their clients are in the best shape and that the future is exciting for both of us.”
DiLallo is one of Australia’s most celebrated Creative Directors. His career highlights include: 5th on Big Won rankings of Word’s Top Chief Creative Officers; more than 1,000 local and international awards, including: 51 Cannes Lions, including 6 International Grand Prix and 20 One Show Pencils.
