M+C Saatchi’s Open House program will return and entries close Saturday (tomorrow) evening.
Open House is a free online seven-week M+C Saatchi Group training program that is open to anyone. Industry specialists will share knowledge across CX, design, strategy, creative, storytelling, media, data, innovation and more.
Participants will gain insights into the marketing and advertising industry, the jobs available and also have the opportunity to secure a paid internship at M+C Saatchi for 2026.
Open House was launched in 2021 and has been further substantiated over the years by the findings of Advertising Council Australia’s (ACA’s) Create Space census which consistently shows, an inclusive and equitable industry is needed to accelerate positive and lasting change.
“Whether you’re a student, starting or shifting your career, returning to work after a break or simply wanting to find out more before deciding, we want your original ideas and thinking. We’d especially like to hear from people from diverse backgrounds, personal circumstances or locations,” said Dani Bassil CEO of M+C Saatchi ANZ.
The first Open House program resulted in M+C Saatchi Group recruiting eight people to its family.
“We aim to build on this, because breaking down barriers to entry has never been more important. We’re opening the doors for prospective talent who may never have thought about a career in the creative communications industry,” Bassil added.
Open House’s seven-week training program is delivered via live, weekly interactive webinars which are also recorded and available on demand. Each week an M+C Saatchi Group speaker will provide specialist knowledge and insights.
Bassil will kick off the program with a live audience in Sydney, and Zaid Al-Qassab, global CEO, will do the same in London. At the in-person events, M+C Saatchi will host a Q&A panel of Open House participants in both regions sharing their experience in the account management, creative, marketing, media, PR, and strategy roles that make up our industry, sharing personal career journeys to demystify the many pathways to advertising.
Through real examples of work, participants will see how these roles come to life in practice, while also encouraging them to reflect on their own strengths, interests and ambitions.
On completion, participants will receive an M+C Saatchi Group certificate that can support future applications and career opportunities, alongside the chance to apply for a future role within the M+C Saatchi Group.
