Women’s lifestyle network, marie claire Australia has joined forces with World Vision Australia to launch Rewrite Her Future, an exclusive live event held yesterday Wednesday 10 September at Paddington Town Hall to mark International Day of the Girl.
The event spotlights World Vision’s ‘1000 Girls’ campaign, which champions education, safety and empowerment for girls globally.
Hosted by marie claire Australia editor Georgie McCourt, Rewrite Her Future brought together a panel of inspiring World Vision ambassadors including Maria Thattil (actor, author, advocate), Kishwar Chowdhury (MasterChef star) and Erin Holland (sports presenter, TV host). Together, they shared powerful stories of resilience, leadership and change.
With the theme “Fearless. Bold. Unstoppable”, the evening combined thought-provoking conversation with networking, canapés and drinks for 250 guests. The partnership underscores marie claire’s legacy of driving meaningful conversations that empower women and create change, while showcasing World Vision’s mission to rewrite the future for girls everywhere.
