And even in these COVID-impacted TV times it appears even love’s now off the agenda for the typically amorous cast on the show.
Taking social distancing to a whole new level, producers have decreed that all on-air smooching has to be done with a rather creepy-looking latex sex doll.
As an executive producer on the show told the New York Times, “One of the first ideas we had was to bring in mannequins for the intimate scenes and hospital scenes, and it’s working quite well – we’re shooting it from a great distance or in a way you can’t see the form is inanimate.”
Footage of a human-mannequin pash has appeared online and, as you’d expect, it’s freaking everybody out.
