Lisa Wilkinson Spotted On Nine’s Ninja As Son Bombs Out On Course

It would appear there’s not too much bad blood between Channel Nine and its former star, Lisa Wilkinson, after the former Today show co-host made a very brief cameo on Australian Ninja Warrior last night.

Wilkinson’s son, Louis FitzSimons, took to the Ninja course last night as his mother could be seen cheering-on from the stands.

Meanwhile, Louis’ two siblings, Billi and Jake, and father, Fairfax journalist Peter FitzSimons, ran alongside the course to lend their support.

In homage to his father’s famed and oft ridiculed do-rag, young Louis also got into the action, sporting one of his very own last night.

“Although I am my parents’ son, I am my own man, and I’m here to prove that today,” Louis declared in the pre-assault interview.

And how’d he fare? Sadly, Louis ended up in the drink some 30-seconds into his effort, however, the effort was good enough to move him through to the show’s semi-finals. Check out all the action below and Wilkinson’s brief cameo at the 50-second mark.
