Lady Gaga Unveils New Video Shot Entirely On An Apple iPhone

Lady Gaga (aka the Academy Award winning actress Stefani Germanotta) has released a teaser video for her first single since 2017 and all shot on Apple’s iPhone 11 Pro.

The song, called Stupid Love, appears to be a return to Gaga’s pop roots and includes her trademark plethora of back-up dancers.

Over the weekend, Apple confirmed its partnership with Gaga and that the film clip was, indeed, shot on one of its phones. However, no details of any commercial arrangement have been made public.

But if you’re wondering why the videos you shoot on your iPhone look nothing like a Lady Gaga video clip, Apple has added that the clip’s producers relied on “additional hardware” such as lighting equipment and stabilisers before being “professionally edited”.

Stupid Love is currently available on all major streaming platforms and was directed by Aussie film maker Daniel Askill, with post-production managed by Sydney design, animation and visual effects house, Heckler.

The video continues holding YouTube’s top spot on its trending list with more  than 12 million views tallied thus far. Prepare to get funky below:
