Beauty and the Geek star Lachy Mansell will be showing off what he’s got as the newest underwear model for Knobby.

Lachy’s modelling comes as Knobby are holding a massive sale.

50,000 pairs of undies that usually cost people $25-$30 a pair, will only be $1.

To celebrate, Lachy will strut his stuff down Parramatta Road on Thursday at 1pm in some Knobby underwear.

The discounted undies go on sale at 1pm on Firday 26 November, with both men’s and women’s undies available.

Company founder Rob Rand is very excited about the new promotion and is even happy to cop the strategic loss in order to attract new customers.

“Lachy is the underwear model Australia deserves! He’s a great larrikin and therefore a perfect fit for Knobby,” Rand said.

“We want to give everyone the opportunity to try Australia’s comfiest and most creative undies, that’s why I’ve decided to make a loss with our Black Friday Sale by offering up to 50,000 pairs of undies for only $1 each – it simply cannot be beaten – but be quick, these will sell out fast.”

Lachy added: “If I had a bet with someone 12 months ago that I was going to be an underwear model – I would be losing a lot of money this week – but here we are.

I invite everyone who sees me parading my wares down Parramatta Road on Thursday to honk their horns and I’ll give them my best blue steel in return!

“I took myself out of my comfort zone by doing reality TV, so parading down a busy street should be a walk in the park.

“Just because you’re a geek on the outside, doesn’t mean your underwear has to be – these trunks are so fun and they allow me to show off my wild side,” said Lachy.

Knobby launched its monthly undie club in 2014, where subscribers get sent a new pair of undies with a fresh design for $20 a month.
