Kaimera has been appointed to manage the national full-service media account for Aveo, one of Australia’s leading retirement living operators.
Kaimera won a competitive pitch involving at least four agencies, and began working with Aveo in February.
The agency has been appointed to deliver a fully integrated, full-funnel media strategy across all channels nationally, supporting Aveo through its next phase of growth.
Founded in 1989, Aveo is owned by Scape and manages 67 retirement communities across major metropolitan and coastal locations along the Eastern seaboard of Australia.
Designed specifically for Australians aged 55 and over, it offers a range of independent living villas and apartments with access to care and support services, and contemporary community facilities.
Kaimera, the Surry Hills headquartered independent launched by Nick Behr in 2016, was acquired by Havas late last year.
Anna Magliano, chief client officer at Kaimera, said the partnership reflects strong strategic alignment between the two businesses.
“Aveo is a brand with genuine purpose and momentum. Their vision to reframe retirement living as a vibrant, connected and growth-oriented chapter of life deeply resonates with our team.
“We’re excited to bring a genuinely fresh perspective to Aveo’s media strategy – delivering a connected full-funnel approach that supports both brand building and performance outcomes.”
Aveo said that it selected Kaimera for its ability to combine strategic rigour with nimble execution, as well as the operational efficiencies gained by consolidating its media requirements under one agency.
“We were looking for an agency partner that could bring fresh thinking, agility and a truly connected media strategy to support Aveo’s evolving growth ambitions. Kaimera demonstrated a clear understanding of our brand, our customers and the unique dynamics of the retirement living sector,” said Aveo general manager of marketing and communications Joel Fyfe.
“Their ability to deliver an integrated full-service solution, combined with the efficiencies of having The Living Company’s brands, Aveo and Scape under one agency, gives us confidence as we enter our next chapter of growth.”
