If you are feeling a little bit down about the rising COVID-19 cases, hopefully watching Seven’s Sam Mac attempting to skateboard will cheer you up.
Sunrise’s weather reporter Sam Mac took a trip to a skateboarding school in Sydney and while attempting to show off his moves – stacked it.
Mac lost his footing and was basically airborne before landing with a thud! It was all very dramatic and very funny – once you knew he was okay, of course!
Mac said: “You know what, even as I was taking off I knew it was going to end like that but I was still surprised when I ended on the ground!”
Things just went from bad to worse for @MrSamMac when he visited a skateboarding school this morning 🤣 pic.twitter.com/wN8bfCB7y0

His crash really amused his coworkers Natalie Barr and David Koshie – who were cackling in response.
Koshie said: “He didn’t really bounce, did he? He just went smack. Love it,”
Of course, while Mac’s stack was pretty funny nothing will compete with Seven’s presenter Mike Amor skateboard related stardom.
Remember when he was whacked in the head by a rogue skateboard while reporting from Venice Beach?
It went viral at the time. Of course, now Amor is going viral for very different reasons – Cough – Novak – Cough.
Either way – it’s nice to start the morning with something other than COVID-19 updates.
Morning shows are meant to be fun after all!
