Jude Law Is Exhausted By Rom-Com Clichés In Uber Eats’ Latest UK Ad Via Mother

Jude Law is the latest celebrity to star in the UK-based Uber Eats brand platform ‘When You’ve Done Enough, Uber Eats,’ brought to life via Mother London. The TVC parodies Law’s romcom legacy, this time depicting him running from clichés rather than leaning into them.

Uber Eats launched its ‘When You’ve Done Enough, Uber Eats’ brand platform for the UK back in February, which celebrates moments of relaxation and downtime delivered by Uber Eats. It has featured David and Victoria Beckham, Javier Bardem, and Elton John.

The film, titled ‘Romanc’d Enough,’ was created by Mother and directed by David Shane. It follows Law through London in a series of meet-cute moments—from bumping into someone carrying boxes, to a shared glance in a bookstore, to a chance encounter in the park with another dog owner. These quickly turn romantic, but Law is quick to turn them down—he’s “exhausted” by the romance.

We follow Law through a familiar romcom world, but instead of leaning in, this time Jude doesn’t play along. He’s done enough, and he’s ready to wind down, opting for chicken wings on Uber Eats.

“I can’t do this. No more romances, no more happily ever afters,” Law said after one aborted meet-cute. “It’s exhausting”.

The campaign is running across TV, out-of-home, digital, and social media.
