Initiative has promoted Paige Wheaton to national managing director.
Wheaton, who joined Initiative in early 2023 after nearly six years at Mindshare, steps up from her role as chief investment & partnerships officer into the newly expanded national position.
In the newly created role, Wheaton will take national responsibility for business performance, overseeing a standardised operating model and leading client partnerships and teams across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Initiative Australia CEO Jo McAlister said the move reflects both Wheaton’s impact internally and a broader shift in how the agency is structuring its leadership.
“Paige has had a significant impact since joining the agency. This realignment comes at a pivotal moment as we look to better align nationally, strengthen our client partnerships and set the business up for long-term growth,” McAlister said.
Wheaton added that the role presents an opportunity to further unify the agency’s national offering.
“My focus will be on driving alignment across our business and continuing to build a connected, high-performing team that delivers meaningful client growth,” she said.
Her appointment is effective immediately.
