Australian indie agency Sunny Advertising has secured partnerships with some of the country’s most recognised sporting organisations, including NRL club the Dolphins, Sunshine Coast Lightning netball team, the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and the Brisbane Bullets, while the Brisbane Heat has reappointed the agency for a third consecutive season.
Sunny Advertising CEO Sarah McNeil said the appointments reflected the agency’s growing reputation for delivering measurable commercial outcomes for professional sporting organisations.
“Elite sport is incredibly competitive and it’s not just on the field performance,” she said.
Sporting organisations also focus on maintaining and attracting new members, increasing attendance and game day engagement while supporting sponsors, fans and other stakeholders.”
“Our team has developed specialist expertise in audience growth, performance media and fan engagement, helping sporting organisations like the Brisbane Heat maximise every marketing dollar while delivering measurable results,” the CEO added.
That expertise helped Brisbane Heat deliver one of the club’s strongest commercial seasons in recent BBL history, attracting more than 150,000 fans across five home matches, recording three sell-out crowds and achieving its highest home attendances in eight seasons.
McNeil said she was delighted to welcome a broad range of new sports related clients into the business and sees it as a real growth opportunity moving forward.
“This is a niche we are really excited to grow, most of our staff are sports mad so it helps that they understand each individual sport and their different nuances while adding our unique set of expertise in order to maximise outcomes,” Sarah added.
